Higher inflation reduces the real value of debt - so it's part of the solution to the debt problem. However, for the general public (all of us), as Milton Friedman put it: "Inflation is taxation without legislation" Couple that with the fact that financial repression (high inflation, very low bond yields) means you have no way to save and offset inflation taxation. There are very, very few ways to combat this outside of real stores of value (as yet in its young existence Bitcoin has failed that test).
